Curb Work!
It'll be worth it!

Hello LOM Residents!
The work on the curbs has started on Muirfield Close. Each homeowner on the Close received a letter from Ruby Rocks Asphalt Works Ltd. yesterday outlining in detail the scope of work, the schedule, and factors that affect their progress. Approximate timelines were 2-3 weeks depending on weather, including the required week for the curing process.
Parking barriers were placed on the areas to be repaired. Some concern was the letter's caution that if any portion of a driveway was designated with white or orange paint and required work, no access to that driveway and the garage would be available.
We clarified with the Project Manager. If there is ample room to enter the driveway without disrupting the new concrete, full access is not denied but he did caution (the reason for the strict warning in the letter) that when the cement gets poured there is a fair amount of splatter and they wanted to avoid splashing vehicles parked on the driveway as it will mar the finish.
So, if you still have ample room to enter your driveway around the areas affected, but cannot park in your garage, we do not recommend you park on your driveway.
Once all the curbs and sidewalks are complete, the same company will be finishing the roads - see the June Update for which roads. This will begin, depending on weather, in a month's time.

HISTORY
Nearly two decades have passed since the approved Entitlement Process allowed for the phased development of more than 700 residences, a resort style golf course, and a small commercial component, north of the existing hamlet of Lyalta in 2005.
