2022/23 Outdoor Rink Opening

Hi Everyone,
We have finally flooded the rink with enough water to hopefully get us through the holiday season!
We are excited to announce we will open the rink tonight December 16th, 2022 at 7:30pm. The light towers will be up and operational and nets on the ice. The light towers will be on Friday and Saturday nights (weather permitting), from dark(ish) to 9:30-10 pm. Through the holidays we will have them on more regularly again depending on weather.
Some reminders to help keep our rink in great shape and to reduce workload for all:
- Please remove snow from surface over top of the boards, if we do not the build up of snow against the boards will freeze and will make flooding next to impossible. Not to mention you cannot shoot the pucks off the boards anymore!
- Please remove any and all ‘things/items’ from the ice surface when not in use; nets, skate trainers, chairs, pucks etc. They will melt into the ice surface and may be there until summer!
